"This is our group of nurses from the NC Chapter of Assoc. of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON). (of course this is only a small portion of us..we had over 20 people attend this event) We are made up of nurses from UNC and Duke Hospitals. During basketball season these two schools are true rivals, however on February 26, 2011 we walked together to raise money for the Triangle Curesearch walk, which funds research to find a cure for pediatric cancer. Together we raised over $3,000 for our cause. Our shirts say, "Whatever your blue, we take care of you" "Setting rivalries aside to fight pediatric cancer" on the back. Without CustomInk's help I'm not sure we could have made these shirts happen. They were key in making sure the ribbon on the back of our shirt came out exactly as we imagined it!
