We are the Change

"This year was the birth of Service for Humanity, a student ran organization aim to developing philanthropy in students through volunteerism and service. Our theme this year was "Be the change that you want to see in the world." Young people should not sit around and wait for their ideal change to happen, instead they should become the change themselves. Although it was a bumpy journey, we still managed to accomplish incredible things. This photo marks our organization's very first Service Summit. The summit gave students a new prospective about growing global and social issues. It was a great way to introduce the idea of philanthropy to young students. Students left the summit feeling empowered to make a difference, not only in the world but themselves and to be more compassionate towards others. For many of the students, this summit sure did hit home. This photo was taking right before the summit ended, and captures each unique individual. I think my experience with this particular order was very different compared to my past orders with this company since I had to go through school accounts instead of just paying for it on my own. It was a very interesting and lengthy process but the administrators, my sponsor and I, and the customink team both push through and I couldn't be happier with how the shirts came out.
