"In August, 2007, Polytechnic University conducted a two week residential
teacher development program called WISE (Workshop in Instrumentation,
Sensors and Engineering) for middle and high school teachers from New
York City, Westchester and Long Island. Funding was provided by the NY
State Educ. Dept. under its "Engineers of the Future" program.
