Babci's 80th Bday

"I promised my mom we wouldn't do anything crazy for her 80th birthday. She has a phobia of surprise parties. I told her that just my wife and I would take her and dad out since everyone else was busy on a Wednesday evening. However I had to do SOMETHING for a monumental birthday such as this and I began to conspire with my family members. So while I didn't invite the entire extended family and friends we decided to keep it small with just her sons and our families. Wet put together a last minute surprise at a local restaurant. Since we did not begin planning in advance it was a scramble to pull together something nice in the 11th hour. I thought it would be cool to have t-shirts for our small group and surprise her when she walked in. The only problem was I had 9 days before her birthday. I went onto the web on Monday Sept 5 looking for a company that could provide shirts quickly. They needed to arrive by Sept 13 for the party on Sept 14! I came across CustomInk and found that it would be possible to get a 1 week turn-around for a modest expediting fee. I started to play with their t-shirt design program. It was very user friendly! In a short period of time I put together a layout and color scheme my mom would like. Submitted the order on that Monday night. I immediately received a confirmation email. By 8am Tuesday morning I had a proof to review for the order. I realized I made an error on one of the shirt sizes. Hope this doesn't delay my order now! Nope. Received a response 2 hours later that my proof was corrected and the order was being processed so that I could receive them in a week. Even better I received them a day earlier than hoped.Shirts were at my front door Monday Sept 11. This was an order for only 12 t-shirts but I was treated like I just submitted a 1200 t-shirt order. I'm not easily impressed with a company simply doing what they promise however I was blown away with the speed, efficiency and professionalism of CustomInk.
