BARKK to end the silence

"In November of 2012 the life of a beautiful woman lost her life to domestic violence at the hands of her husband. She was a daughter, sister, cousin and friend. She was beautiful inside and out and she is missed daily. She was also an animal lover and mom to two labs and a cat that she rescued from the woods. This tragedy brought to the for front the fact that there are no women's shelters in our state equipped to accept family pets. So in honor of Danielle Reed, on Sept 28th the first annual BARKK(because acts of random kindness kount) to end the silence 5k walk, run or barkk was held to raise funds to equip these shelters. There was over 500 participants and over $7000. was raised. Dani's family & friends represented her well in these purple Team Dani t-shirts. We loved them! The quality was excellent and they looked amazing. We will be creating a new design and ordering for next year's race as well. Thank you CustomInk for playing such an important part of this very emotional journey!" - http://www.muttnosebest.com - Team Dani (Oct 02, 2013)
