Fighting RA, One Step at a Time

"The Linda Basta Memorial Foundation was founded in 2017, shortly after the passing of my mother who suffered for years with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Our first event started small walk, raising a little over $2,000 for the Arthritis National Research Foundation. However, it was at that first event that I was able to speak with a number of people in attendance that shared with me that their young children were also suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis, a disease I originally thought was only diagnosed in adults. Since then, I've teamed up with John R. Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo, and have donated almost $40,000, to date, as a result of our fundraising efforts over the past few years.
