"Dog adoption fair at N. Academy, Petsmart, Colorado Springs on 9/7/13. The nonprofit, no kill SLV Animal Welfare Society has driven each Saturday to Petsmart for the past 10 years to find homes for cats and dogs. They drive 3.5 hours from an impoverished area, the San Luis Valley. It is a 22 hour day to help animals. They have found homes for 8,000 animals, mostly dogs and puppies. Photographed are some of our adoption fair dedicated volunteers."
