"This past weekend our family and friends had the honor to walk in the Miles for Melanoma Walk in Atlanta GA for team Keep Calm and Kara On! For Kara Rowlson Gullo. Kara was diagnosed with Melanoma in March 2015 and has been fighting the good fight with success from her treatments to date. The battle is still not over and she continues to fight the disease with all her family and friends by her side. What was so special about this event last Saturday was we set a goal of 100 walkers for her team and just $3000 to raise at the start. As her story was shared, we grew from 32 walkers to 92 at the time of the walk and have raised over $14,300 to date. We exceeded the $24,000 raised in Atlanta last year to almost $54,000 to date and our Keep Calm and Kara On! was one of the largest nationwide. It was truly an honor to see so many people wearing the Keep Calm and Kara On! T-shirts supporting this great cause.
