Proud to be a YAAC!

"The Youth Advisory and Advocacy Council (YAAC) was formed by Communities for Alcohol- and Drug-free Youth (CADY) as a vehicle to give youth of the Pemi-Baker and Newfound regions a means of taking positive action to impact their environments and be part of the solution to problems relating to substance abuse. The YAAC’s was honored with The New Futures, statewide “2015 Youth-In-Action” award on October 8, 2015 for outstanding youth advocacy and leadership. This picture shows the YAAC youth at one of their weekly planning meetings. They were extremely excited to receive their new tee-shirts that they designed. They are currently working hard on a Prescription Drug Awareness Campaign, targeting parents about the dangers of Youth Rx Abuse. Their Rx Awareness Campaign will launch in February 2016. The YAAC youth leaders are excited to wear their CustomInk tee-shirts proudly and continue to work hard educating their peers, communities and the state of New Hampshire on the dangers of youth substance abuse." - http://www.cadyinc.org - CADY YAAC (Jan 27, 2016)
