"I have multiple myeloma, a blood cancer for which there is no cure - at least not right now. Every year, we run the Race for Research, sponsored by the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). 90% of every dollar raised goes directly to research that someday will lead to a cure for me and those of us with this cancer. This year, I had 42 team members, I received the Spirit of Hope Award, and we were the top fundraising team with just under $24,000! Woo-hoo! Here's to our team!!
