"This picture was taken during our bi-annual blood drive at Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough, NC on Friday, December 14th. We were especially excited to be hosting this drive because our state has been hit by 2 hurricanes and then a big snow storm. We had missed school days the week of the blood drive because of all of the snow. We were concerned that we might have to cancel the drive, but knew donations were critical because of all the weather events in our state. Thankfully, we were able to pull it off!!! Students, teachers and community members came out and donated and the American Red Cross brought their team in to make it happen!!!"
