"My family and I were supporting the fight against ALS at the Lehigh Valley Walk to Defeat ALS. The walk took place on October 18, 2014 in Allentown, PA. We we're walking in memory of my father, Michael "Scoop" Leone, who had been diagnosed with ALS(Lou Gehrigs disease) in 2006. It took doctors one and a half years to diagnose my dad. He passed away in 2012, just 6 years after being diagnosed with this horrible disease. We walk every year for him and raise money in his memory, and for others living with ALS, to help find a cure for this degenerative ailment. We will continue to walk in memory of him and in honor of those living with ALS as long as we need to.
