"In a continuing effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer, the Valley Forge Towers Community Association will host its 9th annual lemonade stand on Saturday, July 21 from 11 am to 3 pm at their complex on Valley Forge Circle. The lemonade stand will benefit childhood cancer research through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF).
For our 9th year, we are looking to raise $10,000 in loving memory of our beloved Ellen Cardonick who was a cornerstone of our stand for the past 8 years. She lost her battle to ovarian cancer in December 2017. In her memory, we continue to help fight childhood cancer, One Cup at a Time!
Since 2010, the Valley Forge Towers Community Association has raised over $65,000 for ALSF. The entire community is invited to enjoy a full day of fun, with hot dogs, water ice, soft pretzels, face painting, kids’ games, balloon sculptures by Kidz Delight, dancing lemons, many raffle prizes, ALSF apparel and (of course) lemonade.
