The Chemhoes Swim Across America to Benefit Childhood Cancer Research

"Our team, The Chemhoes (pronounced Keem Hoes) swam from the Golden Gate Bridge back in to shore (1.5 miles) as part of the Swim Across America fundraiser. Our logo is the mudflap girl hooked up to an IV because we want to remind people to not let cancer take away your sense of humor! Our team alone raised over $37,000 as a part of the over $600,000 raised at the event. All proceeds went directly to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital SF Survivors of Childhood Cancer Program. WHAT A GREAT DAY! THANKS CUSTOMINK FOR MAKING SURE WE LOOKED GREAT!" - http://www.swimacrossamerica.org/site/TR/OpenWater/SanFrancisco?team_id=18662&pg=team&fr_id=3946 - The Chemhoes (Oct 11, 2016)
