"We are wives of Soldiers that are in the Army National Guard. Currently, our husbands are deployed overseas. During their last deployment, one of the men in the unit did not return. This 5K was to honor all of the Fallen Heroes. Since our husbands could not be here, we decided to get together and do it ourselves. This was in Columbia, SC. We had a great time!"
