The beginning of a new year marks a time to reflect on the successes of the previous year and resolve to make even more of an impact in the year ahead. And of course, to lose some weight – let’s be honest.
But seriously, we at CustomInk wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for letting us be a part of your special occasions! What’s meaningful to you is meaningful to us and we’re honored that you instill your trust in us to be your custom t-shirt provider. We love hearing your stories and seeing your creativity expressed in custom products.
Can’t wait to see what 2011 brings! Happy New Year, Inkers!
Did I just hear a collective groan at the thought of family Christmas card photos? Oh, that was just me? Shoot. Here’s the thing. I’m allergic to Christmas – well, the trees anyway. But my family insists on having one each year. So our Christmas morning photo stars me playing the role of Rudolph, completely red-nosed. (Bet you’ll have no problem picking me out of the above photo!)
Our customers, on the other hand, have taken the Christmas card to a whole new level…with custom apparel. Here are some customer photos featuring holiday group shots. Enjoy! Read more –>
Who doesn’t love a good holiday gathering!? I know I do and it doesn’t take long for every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas to fill up with festivities galore. The parties I remember the most – besides the ones with bad karaoke and 8 different pies – are those where the host or hostess leave their guests (namely me) with something more than just heartburn. ‘Tis the season to be giving, right? So here are some ideas for fabulous holiday party gifts and stocking stuffers…

Ever get an oddly-colored, super-snazzy (ahem, ugly) sweater as a gift from a distant relative? Perhaps something that puts the “err” in “merry”?
We asked each Inker to “flaunt what your grandma made ya!” And yesterday, as you can see in the photos below, they donned their jingle bells, appliqués, sequins and detachable collars, wearing their tackiest sweaters, sweatshirts, and sweater vests for our inaugural Ugly Sweater Day at CustomInk!
After an Inker-wide vote, the “ugliest” sweater won… drum roll please… John H. (pictured above) wearing what we call his “Abducted Sheep” sweater! Good luck topping that one. Read more –>
I trick or treated right up to the very end, right to that cusp where homeowners started to worry about whether they should open the door to the 6-foot-tall Care Bear standing on their stoop. Last year, I didn’t go…but I did have fun! My friends and I banded together to re-create childhood glee with what is now an annual Halloween Block Party.
We have bobbing for apples, a great costume contest, and spook-tacular treats. So I don’t have to give up wearing costumes after all…which works out well because I don’t know where else I would wear my faux fur bunny suit…and Halloween can continue to be one of my favorite holidays.
If you’re considering a Halloween party, try your hand at branding your soiree with a scary t-shirt for your guests. I suggest using fonts from the scary section for a gothic look, and keywords like “skeleton,” “zombie,” or “ghosts” to find lots of great clipart.
