Terrie and the Yogettes

"We are a unique group of women ages 50-76 doing yoga as therapy for a variety of ailments. Our instructor has Parkinson's Disease and began the group when she felt she needed to improve her balance, strength and coordination. As the group grew, we began to celebrate birthdays monthly. The social gatherings brought us all together as friends and friends share inner thoughts. It came to light that each member was struggling with her own trial. We have histories including stroke, cancer, heart attacks, hip and knee replacements, depression and a kidney transplant! This photo is our group as we gave our instructor a surprise party and everyone showed up in our shirts! An increadable feat since we all ordered our own shirts online! This is not a web savvy group, but the CustomInk Staff was the bomb at helping us get it done! At the party, we all realized how proud we are of our teacher's persistence and patience with us and is determined to keep trying, how we have all fallen in love with each other and how wonderful it is to be a part of her Yogettes. Now we can wear our shirts with pride and show the world we are part of an awesome group of people that are improving our lives and those around us through the positive aura of yoga and love and friendship.
