Walking For Donna

"On 10/5/2013 our family did our first Alzheimer's Walk in Pittsburgh, PA for my Mom Donna, who is 78 years old. She was first diagnosed with Alzheimers almost four years ago. She's been a single parent for 33 years and raised four teenagers and two grandchildren. She never drove so she relied on public transportation and she walked everywhere. So it was fitting that we would walk for her. It was a very moving day for all of us and plan to open it up next year for friends to participate. This year we didn't know what to expect so we just kept it to the family. Look out 2014. " - Donna's Darlings (Oct 08, 2013)
