Ink of the Week

“Orphan Hosting Program-Summer 2013″ wins this week’s Ink of the Week contest!

“This was taken in the airport, Kiev, Ukraine at 2am. Arrival in Chicago. 63 orphans and 4 chaperones were on their way with Marina’s Kids Hosting program to spend a summer 2013 in the US. Each child got to have a family of their own for a few weeks, and formed friendships for a lifetime. Some kids found their forever family during that trip. CustomInk was a wonderful help in creating the shirts, advice and guidance from CustomInk team was invaluable. The shirts let the kids pass through crowds during travel, showing to everyone that this was a team. It was an amazing site. And now the shirts are a wonderful souvenirs with a special meaning for every single one of this precious orphans. Thank you CustomInk team:) -Marina James, President, Marina’s Kids”

Ink of the Week Winners

Due to last week’s Christmas holiday, we have TWO winners this week! And the winners are…

“Tribute to Kyle Knapp 1989-2013”

“My brother, David Cranmer (editor, publisher & writer) & I surprised our little family on Christmas day with a tribute sweatshirt in honor of my son Kyle J. Knapp. Kyle died in an accidental fire in June of this year. He was 23 years old and an aspiring poet & writer.

Pluvial Gardens is his first book of poetry published by his Uncle David back in 2012. We have also started a memorial garden at the site where he died named Pluvial Gardens. In the summer of 2014 we hope to make T-shirts from his second book of poetry, published after his death called “Celebrations in the Ossuary”. We love these shirts, they are beautifully done and very comfortable. My family thanks everyone at CustomInk and wishes them a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!!!”

“Myers Family Disney Cruise 2014”

“I used the shirts as a surprise for my wife, Louise’s 65th Birthday. It’s been her dream for years to have kids/grandkids to take on the cruise, be she was far from saving up enough for the trip. It was also a surprise for grandkids too, as they didn’t know. She’s the most caring, giving person to her family and friends I know.

I thought it appropriate to honor her with her Disney dream. The shirts enhanced the dream as well. We’ll take a few more pix on board the Disney Fantasy and send to you. We will be on the cruise from Jan 11 – Jan 18. Thanks again for your top notch service!”
