We Put the Fun in Fundraising

Here at the office we just had a bake sale to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In an ideal world, I think there should be a system for matching donations to the number of calories consumed… but I guess there are far too many tasty things in this world for that to work.

I also noticed that the office has been looking awfully pink lately, and I set out to figure out exactly what was going on. Turns out, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, apparently –and this is where I feel out of the loop— October to December is PACKED with other charity walks, marathons, and drives.

In the last few weeks, not only did we have a bake sale to benefit breast cancer prevention but we also had artwork created on skateboards to benefit Afghan schools (Skateistan) and a dog wash to benefit HART (Homeless Animal Rescue Team). We also annually have walkers and workers for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund and the Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Walk.
