How to Design Float Trip Apparel
Float trip groups usually want a light tee for the river, a hat for sun on the water, and a cooler for the ride. The 3 picks below cover all three.
Bayside USA-Made Jersey T-shirt
- Made-in-the-USA cotton tee for hot days on the river
- Trip name on the front and a saying on the back
’47 Brand Trawler Trucker Hat
- Mesh back keeps you cool on the water
- Group name on the front for trip photos
Coleman 1 Gallon Insulated Beverage Jug
- Keeps drinks cold all the way down the river
- Group name on the side so it doesn’t float off with another crew

Float Trip Sayings FAQ
Which float trip sayings work best on a shirt?
Short ones read best, like Tubing = therapy or Just go with the flow. Save the longer sayings for the back of the shirt.
Can we add the river and the year?
Yes. Many groups put the saying on the front and the river name and year on the back.
When should we order our shirts?
Order a few weeks before you need them. That leaves time to approve the design, collect sizes, and have the shirts arrive in time.
Can I get help with the design?
Yes. Start in the Design Lab, and Custom Ink’s Inkers can help with fonts, colors, and placement.
