“Our team plays in the kickball & dodgeball leagues at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX so we decided to take our team photo in front of the massive 363 ft-long Saturn V rocket here since it’s one of the coolest landmarks in Houston. To capture the spirit of our workplace, we named ourselves Spaceballs: The Kickball Team and each took character names from the movie for our shirts, mainly to get some great laughs from the other teams. Working with the CustomInk team on our shirts was an absolute pleasure as they made sure that our shirts would be produced to the highest quality. The artwork we submitted was quite detailed and we had a lot of different name/size requests but that didn’t hinder them from producing the shirts amazingly well and exactly per our order.”
“In celebration of Nurses Week, our medical center’s nursing organization hosts a Kickball Tournament – this is the 3rd year for the program and the 2nd year Human Resources has formed a team to participate. Last year’s team was out in the second game and was quite the mudfest. But this year, the clouds parted and although the fields were wet, we finally got a great team photo! And despite our game last night resulting in our first loss, we will be back at it on Thursday night looking for our first win. One thing is for sure – our shirts were winners! If there was an award for best dressed we would have won it two years running! Thanks for making it a great ordering experience!”

Kickball Team Names FAQ
How do we pick a kickball team name?
The best kickball names are puns on songs, shows, and sayings, like Saved by the Ball or Don’t Stop Ballieving. Pick one the whole team will be happy to wear.
Can we add player names and numbers?
Yes. A common layout is the team name on the front and each player’s name and number on the back.
When should we order team shirts?
Order a few weeks before the season starts. That leaves time to approve the design, collect sizes, and have the shirts arrive for the first game.
Can I get help with the design?
Yes. Start in the Design Lab, and Custom Ink’s Inkers can help with fonts, colors, and placement.
