“We are a field hockey program in Pembroke Massachusetts consisting of a Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman team. Every October we go pink for breast cancer awareness. It is something that is very close to a few of the girls on the team and something that has impacted my life as well. In the past we have just tie dyed our shirts pink and white, but this year, I had a close family friend lose her long term battle to breast cancer at only age 38. She was an advocate and inspiration to the breast cancer community in Massachusetts. This year we turned to Custom Ink to make sure it was a special shirt for us to wear in honor of her. Pembroke Field Hockey ‘sticks it to cancer’. They came out so professional and got here before expected!”
“This is a small portion of our group, we have almost 100 people proudly wearing these shirts now. This tee-shirt was created in memory of our beloved hockey sister Carly, who lost her life in November. She loved doing the Polar Plunge supporting the Delaware Special Olympics, so we continued her legacy this past weekend. We are hoping to continue sporting our shirts in off season leagues and special events just as we know Carly would want us to do. The staff at Custom Ink has been so incredibly helpful, from modifying our design, picking the color (which turns out was the color of Carly’s eyes), and satisfying our orders with not a lot of time to work with. I can’t begin to tell you how happy we are with our shirts and the entire experience.”
